online chats

While my old iBook is looking the other way, I'll tell you that my Macbook Pro means I'm now available for online author chats through balkin buddies, whose link should appear in this blog. Online chats really seem the way to go and if you'd like to sign up for one, please do go to the balkin buddies website, and see how they work. If the link doesn't link, then try http://www.balkinbuddies.com/authorsavailableonline.html

My dogs, having seen themselves on the screen, are very keen and will doubtless play a part in proceedings ...

Sounds like a new adventure! Sorry I haven't been following recently (About almost 2 years, been very busy). I drew you the Hosanna picture that I gave you the URL some time ago (just a random reminder of who I was) Well that's cool that you'll have online chats and some such..

I remember the picture. Hi again! Yes, I think the online chats will be cool. I've done a bit of practising with my son. It's very strange seeing yourself live on screen. I may have to keep my eyes shut ...

Hi KM I am 13 and love historical fiction. I have never been so enthralled by a book before, and I am very into reading, so that is the best praise I can offer. I was so enthralled that I started ranting to myself about the old man and got quite a few stares. All of my friends hate historical fiction and I really don't know what is wrong with them. I love the detail you work into your stories. It is down-right magical.
You know I read another historical fiction about the crusades. It was called The Book of the Lion. It is on the same topic, but it doesn't have much of a fictional story behind it, just fact. Yours was much more interesting.

Sincerely, The only kid I know who likes historical fiction

Hi Meryl,

I'm so glad to know that you like historical fiction, and I like to think of you ranting at the Old Man. It's funny when people don't like historical fiction, because history is so much part of us. I always think it's a bit like saying you don't like arms or legs! But of course I'm biased, because I've always found history just full of great stories.

Anyhow, it was so nice to get your comment, so from one historical fiction fan to another ... goodbye for now.

Katie
